Together with mid-sized companies and investment firms, we develop and implement market-oriented strategies for organic and inorganic growth. We create the organisational foundations for sustainable, scalable growth and support owner-managed companies in preparing their succession – backed by more than 400 projects, an extensive expert network and strong methodological expertise.
Sustainable growth does not happen by chance – it is the result of clear strategic decisions. CA Strategy helps companies, investors and shareholders identify attractive market segments, develop organic and inorganic growth strategies and select suitable target companies, and prepares them for a sale process – for example with a sharper equity story, clear market positioning and a robust business plan.

Due Diligence / Business Reviews
CA Strategy produces commercial due diligence reports accepted by banks and debt funds ("bankable reports") in the context of transactions and refinancings. Clients are typically private equity firms, (multi-) family offices, mezzanine providers and corporate clients. We prepare around 25–30 CDD reports per year (more than 400 completed CDD projects in total) and assess both traditional and digital business models.
We follow a holistic approach, i.e. end-to-end support that goes beyond classical commercial due diligence. After a successful commercial due diligence, strategy workshops with the target's management usually follow, along with support for value creation measures and the search for add-on targets.
Unlike other forms of due diligence (e.g. financial, operational or legal due diligence), only commercial due diligence (also called market or strategic due diligence) examines the strategic component within transactions and comprehensively tests the sustainability of the target's business model. It therefore carries particular significance.
CA Strategy focuses above all on the future viability and sustainability of the business model. Our work always centres on validating whether revenue, gross profit and EBITDA planning is achievable, taking into account the findings from market, customer and competitive analysis as well as the resources available within the company. We examine in particular the "downside protection" of the business model as well as upside potential beyond the business plan, and replace descriptive, backward-looking presentations with forward-looking assessments. CA Strategy has access to the most important commercial research databases and AI tools and runs extensive interview programmes with industry experts, customers, distribution partners, competitors and suppliers ("360-degree approach"). We have a large network of industry experts.

04
Organisational Consulting
From many years of project experience – particularly in the service sector – we know that employees are a company's most valuable asset. Above-average staff turnover often leads to lost productivity, project delays, unsettled customers and high recruiting and onboarding costs. This is where we come in: we help companies create an environment in which employees can reach their potential by optimising structures, processes and systems.
Our approach
01
Defining project goals
Together we define the concrete goals and which results should be achieved in which time frame – taking into account the individual company situation and industry specifics.

02
Analysing relevant internal data
We analyse all data that sheds light on turnover drivers and evaluate existing surveys, exit interviews and HR metrics – to identify causes rather than rely on assumptions.
Employee statistics (turnover, sick leave, tenure, age structure, qualifications)
Salary structures and development
Employee satisfaction
Recruiting and retention spend
Evaluation of exit interviews
03
Employee interviews
In a trusting atmosphere we deepen the findings with honest feedback on working conditions, leadership and development opportunities.

Identifying root causes
We condense the results into the central causes of unwanted turnover, distinguishing structural, process-related and cultural factors.

05
Deriving actionable measures
Together we develop practical measures that fit existing resources – with clear responsibilities and a realistic timeline.

The decision to sell a company and hand it over to new owners is one of the most important – and most emotional – decisions in an entrepreneur's life. Alongside economic aspects, personal goals, responsibility towards employees and securing one's life's work play a central role. An early, well-planned approach can therefore be decisive in securing the value of your company.
As an experienced strategy consultancy, we usually support entrepreneurs 2–3 years before the planned sale in regular workshops. Our goal: to provide orientation, show options and prepare you as well as possible for a successful sale process.
Thanks to our many years of work, particularly in the private equity environment, we know investors' requirements very well and know exactly which levers significantly influence company value and which factors are decisive for a successful sale.
